Leadership Assessment-Danny Santana

I believe one of my stronger characteristics are vision, eloquence, and consistency. Since I was younger I always knew which direction I wanted my future to head in. Throughout my internship on Wall Street I worked for a company called S.C.S. Commodities in which I had to allocate trades that brokers finalized throughout the day. If I weren't consistent in making sure prices of crude oil and the amount of lots sold were correct, I could have cost my company a huge chunk of money.

I think my weakness is the willingness to delegate and empower because I am not a very outgoing person. While in groups I generally take a back seat and allow others to speak up and lead. It is easier for me to lead in other activities but group work doesn't necessarily bring out the best in me and it is something I must work on if I plan to be a successful businessman.

Hey Danny,

I had no clue you worked on Wall Street. Impressive. I think consistency is a huge part of being a leader. The best I can relate too is me being a CA. If I were to politely ask someone to go inside with their open container, and then turn around and let others get away with it, my level of consistency would leave some very unhappy customers (residents/students).

Danny I would want you on my team. Knowing what direction you want to go in and following through is half the battle. Also your internship sounds extremely hard. If you can do that i think you can do anything.

Danny,

After reading through your post you seem like the type of guy who has his head screwed on. Wall street must be rough. I would definitely choose you to work with me on a project.

I also agree that consistency is a huge part of being a leader. Leaders lead by example, so if a leader isnt consistent the group will likely not follow. You seem consistent so you would be a good leader.

Daniel,

I think you would be a great asset to any team. Anyone that has direction in life is going to keep that direction in mind and do all possible to attain it. Good for you man working on Wall Street, thats a great accomplishment.

I completely agree that one must have a great head on their shoulders and know what direction they want to take within a company. Those are great characteristics of a leader and a great person to work with.

Danny,
I would definitely want to work in a group with someone like you because you can't start anything with out some sort of direction. I think the fact that you have these strengths is great and will really help you in the long run.

I think you would be a good leader because you are focused and know what you want in life. Also you stated that for your internship you had to be consistent and this is a sign of a good leader.
