One of my strengths would have to be commitment. In every class that requires a group project I work extra hard on my part as well as others in my group. I tend to be the type who doesnt trust others while working in groups because in high school I was used to being the only one doing the whole project while the rest of my group did nothing. Last fall semester in global economy we had a module due every week and I did every module by myself. One module was almost 20 pages. Also I over the summer during my internship at Six Flags my roomate and I worked over 65 hours a week and offered to come in on our days off when they were short staff. There was actually times when we were suppose to be out of work at 5 and we stayed until 11:30 or midnight.
One of my weaknesses is vision, eloquence, and consistency. I tend to be really quiet especially when doing presentations and talking to people that I dont know. Over the summer I did improve a little on this. I am starting to feel a little more confindent about myself, but for the most part Im really quiet and shy. In high school my dance teacher hired me as a teacher as well as an assistant dance teacher where I had to talk for hours every week to my students parents and in front of my whole studio. After doing a presentation for more than 5 minutes I am able to talk freely and comfortably.

{In Support of your Leadership}
Hey Mallory,
FIrst off I want to say that I understand what its like to end up having to carry the whole team. I can respect your commitment to success and excelence when it comes to doing school work. I think you would make a great group leader becuase of that commitment. As long as you keep plugging away, it may inspire your other group members to do the same....... Maybe not though... Nice post!

I think that you would be a very effective leader because you are committed to get the work done that needs to be done, whether in group projects or going into to work on your days off. I would definately want to be in a group that you led because I know you would get the job done and not slack off.
Mallory,
Along the same lines as Dan and Nicole mentioned, you would be a very good leader because of the strong commitment you portray. I myself have been in your situation before and its definately not any fun. Your commitment to your group, regardless of any other group members contribution, is top of the line. Im 100% behind you on this one just because I myself would like to recieve a good grade instead of a "satisfactory" grade for the amount of work we put into our studies.

I believe in what you have to say as a leader. A lot of people try to work behind the sense instead of becoming a leader. Managers have to show commitment and dedication to their employees. Team work is sometimes bad for a person, but it takes time to find the right combination of people to make a great team. A team where the members work together and share and responsibility with others.
I think you would be a good leader because when the work has to get done your going to get it done. That's what a good leader does. They pick up the slack.

I think you would be a great group leader because of your commitment to your work. I know that no matter what is going on I can depend on you to finish your part on time, which is something that I greatly value.

Mallory, although your experiance is much guest relations oriented, i feel that you have a good stepping stone towards a future career.Although at times u may seem imature and ill hearted about the severity of some things, i find that only with age is that improved upon and being so young and so accomplished the future looks bright for you and the success that you will lead others to.

I think you would be a great leader. I think a good leader steps in when they are needed whether they have to volunteer or not. I think from what you have told us you'd do well
