Tyler, I really like your distinctive competencies and your values; it shows how you will be successful, and they both go hand in hand. I think that you could maybe be a little more in-depth with your vision though; you could possibly describe more about your position as an AD who cares about the students. (or maybe just re-word it a little.)

Dear Tyler,
I like the direction you are heading with your life when you get out of college. Being an athletic director is a job you never really hear about people wanting to be. You sound like you have a great grasp on what it means to be a good athletic director. The only critique I can give you is to clarify your mission statement and vision a little and make sure that it is grammaticlally correct.
Hi Tyler,
You have a great sense of what you want to do, but could use some improvement in expressing it. I will rewrite some for you and ask you to try a 2nd draft on the rest. My suggestion for your distinctive competency (if it is true- only you know that):"the ability to motivate high student athletes to attend the college that is the best match for them scholastically and athletically". My only question is have you already developed this talent or is it one you hope to develop? If the latter, you could work it into a vision statement instead of a distinctive competency.
Try a second draft on our blog and I will attend to you in the emergency room on Sunday night at 8:00.
